This week’s theme is “black and white”.

Now, go visit my partner’s blog and leave her some love!

I had the honor of attending one of my longest friend’s wedding vow renewal ceremony. Not only did I get to attend, but, I got to capture and document the day through my eyes. I was beyond thrilled to be able to be there and share my vision with them. It’s true friends that you are able to pick up where you might have left off years ago. Yes, we have been in touch over the years, but we hadn’t actually been in the same room (or state – lol) for a looooooong time. So, it was super exciting to be there on such a joyous occasion.
And I have to give major props to all of Carmen and Rad’s friends and family. Oh. My. Word. These people were super amazingly friendly. Then again, everyone I met in Orlando was crazy happy and nice – especially the super sweet housekeeper that kept letting me into my room when I couldn’t figure out how to work my key card! Well, almost everyone was nice… I’ll just say that I wouldn’t want to mess with the ladies at the Security checkpoints in the airport! They were a little intimidating.
It was really a great weekend. One that I’ll cherish for many years. Alright… and how about some photos already, huh?

And one of Carmen, Rad and I as snapped by their friend (thanks Mehdi!!):

Carmen and Rad, thank you for sharing your ten year anniversary with all of your friends and family. Thank you for letting all of us in on the celebration. Thank you for a wonderful weekend and for taking care of your guests (I know I felt very pampered!). I wish you much love and happiness forever and always.
xoxo,
Marinda
This week at Love That Shot, the theme is “Faces You Love” and the super gals at I Heart Faces are the guest judges! Woot!
The photo had to be taken during September or October and had to feature at least one face.
This is one of my most FAVORITE photos from the last two months. This is a photo of a bride and groom just at sunset on their wedding day (which was in September, by the way
). I love silhouette photos – especially with a gorgeous sky. To get this image, I exposed the photo for the sky. Then while processing, I burned the bride and groom a little and popped the colors in the sky just a bit.

When you have a minute, head on over to Love That Shot and check out all the greatness!
